I strongly condemn abusing any religion (even for a matter of argument sake).....It is the beleif of each individual and he has all the right to beleive whatever he wants....
Agreed! Noordeen, lets say, If I say Prophet Muhammad married Aisha when she was 6-years-old and then changed his name into 'Pedophile Muhammad', I would be beheaded by blasphemy law '?
Every religion has a loophole just as vegetable-VeerSinha's ancestors - hindu priests- who were given a license to rape any girl on the name of Hinduism. |

Ramputan,
Thank you, very impressive answers I have nothing but respect for you. This Indian idiot doesn't have a clue about the gods of anicent Tamils. He thinks Murugan was the only Tamil god. He thinks the only way to survive in this forum is to badmouth the Tamils.
Dont get carried away by names, the onus is on you to proof that Perumal isnt a Tamil God ))))
Just proof that Kundinas didnt steal 'Vishnu' from ancient Tamil/Dravidains lolzzzzz
VeerSingh,
Just answer the question.... :)))
Before you die in vain let me ask you a very basic question. Do you know the meaning of Vishnu to start with ??
VeerSingh,
I know the Tamil roots of word Visnu, let me hear your meaning first.

See this Indian 'loosu' is trying to divert the topic. I already showed the word Lanka came from Ilankai and it is from the root word ILANKU means 'be visible'. :)))
The Vasishnava Azhvaars said 'ILANKAI', it is the Tamil Name for Sri Lanka. For example, Thondaradipodi Azhvaar describes the Lord of Sri Rangam facing Sri Lanka as 'then thisai ILANKAI nOki'.
Still we Sri Lankan Tamils do not use the word Sri Lanka in our conversation or in writing in Tamil. The word LANKA is not a Sinhala word. The Tamil word 'ILANKAI' borrowed by Sanskrit and mutated to 'Lanka' in Sinhalese
The Tamil word 'Ilankai' has its origin in another Tamil word 'Ilanku'. Ilanku means 'be visible'. Why did the name of an island come from the word Ilanku?
Tamils are great seafarers in all known Tamil history. Tamil merchants sailed to Burma and Malaysia in the east and Greece and Rome in the west as far back as at least 2000 years. As ships sailed off from Tamil Nadu coasts or returned back home, sailors could see the large landmass of the island. It was clearly visible. So they called the island Ilankai from the word Ilanku. The island is referred to as Ilankai in some of the oldest Tamil literature available today, for example, Sirupanattuppadai and Purananooru, both written about 2000 years ago.
The prefix 'Sri', indicating honor, respect or reverence, was added to it and the island is today called Sri Lanka

VS,
I can post so many examples in NatThamizh (The great Tamil language). Then again in Tamil Saint Ganasampanthar words I consider you a 'Senthamizhp payanariyaatha 'ANTHAKA MANTHI' (A Blind Monkey who does not appreciate or understand the greatness of Tamil.) :))
Here is another example for the word ILANGKU(M) used in many different contexts in ancient SENTHAMIZH.
'thOdu ILANGKUM kuzahai kaathar, vEthar, surumpu aar malarp
peedu ILANGKUM sadaip perumaiyaaLarkku idam aavathu
kOdu ILANGKUM perum pozhilkaL malka, perunj sennellin
kaadu ILAGNKUM vayal payilum am thaN kadal kaazhiye'
The place of the god who has a LONG Satai(hair), on which eminent flowers on which bees hum, are worn, who gave out the vethams, who wears on both the ears BRILLIANT women's earring and men's earring. as the big parks of beautiful branches are FLOURISHING, is the town of Kali ( town in Tamil Nadu) which is proximity to the sea, which is beautiful and cool where there are MANY fields where the crops of big red variety of paddy are grow dense. ( ancient Thevaram (hymn))
