'descipline we can say bye bye to Corruption, Nepotism, family rule, un-accountability of peoples' money in billions, judges becoming jokers, jokers becoming judges, monkeys becoming ministers, ministers becoming monkeys, cheap whores becoming local MP's,and fundementally ruining a once admired Democracy
no more 'Jumping Fish',no more 'Pupet Judges',no more 'Card Board Colonels'
We need to restore the Supremacy of the Parliament while maintaing a reasonable level of executive power for president so he can actullay implement his program of work.
But remember Gen Fonseka is a battle hardened General who has guts and determination. By no means he perfect but he the best we got.
He will need to select a hand picked team of hard working, educated and politically clean Lankans.
we need people who tasted the taste of Terrorism
Could you post a nice egg hoper recipe as well please mate. Ta!

When will you share this 'radical' idea that the will of the majority must be respected, like the election results?
Unless you live in the La LA land, SL Elections in the recent past are nothing but comic. Herein lies the fundemental flaw in the system.
By the way, where was the elections commisioner kept hidden the night of last presidential Elections?

You do not have any faith in Politicians and therefore politics in Sri Lanka.
You do not have any faith in Sri Lankans or their systems and therefore Sri Lanka.
The elections are therefore not an option, but the armed revolution, with its advantages and drawbacks, is.
However, the revolution too is so precarious and susceptible to corruption that I come back to my initial point...you are well fked!
I suggest that you pull your head out of yours and breathe some fresh air of reality. |

Tann - You cant handle the truth man.
The majority of Sri Lankans does not take anything away from the former General on his war heroism, but try not to fall off the rational world in frustration and embrace feel good politics and idealism.
I can understand the distrust of elected people in power, as well as those who are seeking power as there has always been a fundamental disconnection between the masses and those who allegedly represent them at the top, but it sure takes some serious talent to be willfully ignorant of the recent past and indulge in idealism. |

London: A British police force apologised on Friday after it confirmed that the father of an Indian student shot dead in Manchester found out about his son's murder on Facebook.
Anuj Bidve, a 23-year-old postgraduate student, was shot in the head at close range early on Monday in Salford as he walked into Manchester city centre with Indian friends.
The murder is being treated by detectives as a 'hate crime' which may have been racially motivated.
Greater Manchester Police's Assistant Chief Constable Dawn Copley confirmed that Subhash Bidve, the victim's father, read a post on the social networking site before officers were able to contact him by more conventional means.

Tann Thanks for your quick reply, I check out and found out very recent photos in Public News Papers, this address is a house for 'Supreme COATS' but not 'Supreme COURTS'. I realy wanted to find out where the country's 'Judiciery'(Judges) are deciding cases against citizen/ citizen , and citizen/government.Not a place where 'Red Cloke Clowns' stay. OK.
