That does not make any difference. One has to do his duties and compliments or criticisms should not deter him in his endeavor.
Who am I? Obviously I am God's child, like you and Wickeya. Then you may wonder why we have different thoughts and deeds and words. Well...it is all the work of Karma.
Why some suffer and others don't? It is all karma. Partly it is our own making. God gives us intelligence, knowledge and wisdom to decide what is good and what is bad and if we don't use these god's gifts in a better way then we suffer.
So suffering and happiness are all within you and within your reach and it is for you to get at it.
What does it matter to you whether I am a priest, aiyar, aiyankar, or hamaduru or even a devil? What matters is my wisdom and how mush I am able to change people!

Wick.. iyyer/iyyanger are hindu priests.... the way seethrough is preaching he seemed like one of them.. that's why i asked whether he is really one..
however..... he is not and he goes further with his preachings.... some people derive a lot of happiness by doing that despite they themselves cannot abide by what they preach.... that's how hypocrites are born.....:))))) |

Iyer, Iyengar are a Bramin Cast and it has nothing to do with preaching. Of course when an Iyer does pooja and other hindu religious rituals in a temple then he is referred to as a temple priest. At present even that duty is taken out of ayer (Bramins) and non Bramins do this job in some Hindu temples. This is due to anti-Bramin stand in tamil nadu in particular. It is a huge topic and so I will stop here.
Regarding my two brothers abusing me and humiliating me in this forum, well...well they may assume those unkind words may offend me, insult me, belittle me and make me angry and offensive! But certainly more and more my two brothers do that my love for them increases. My understanding of them increases. It is their bad karma that is making them to do such evil things and thus it is my duty to enlighten them, forgive them and take them into my embrace in order to reform them.
I don't want them to be born again and again as sinners in this world and continue to suffer. So I will guide them into the path of God so that they will acquire good karma so that they could break this horrible cycle of rebirth.
If they still resist, well then it is their overwhelming bad karma that is preventing them from escaping. is there any way to escape from such bad karma? I will enlighten them as we go on, step by step. |

you are not talking about the reason behind as to why you are experiencing such a situation.....
remember.. in your own words.. we got to find the ''root cause'' of this accusation...... isn't it because your intimidation of Singhalese in general and the ridiculing of these two particular individuals.....?

How can you say that? Whom am I to intimidate sinhalese who are my brothers? How can I ridicule two of my brothers?
We are Buddists and Hindus. We lead a life guided by Lord Buddha and Hindu saints. Then how could that be possible in our strong religious and cultural ties extends to thousands of years.
I am sure you have thoroughly misunderstood. I have no ill feelings for your accusation. I only understand that there is a mistake. We have no inclination to harm any one not even animals.
as Brother Wickeya crisply mentioned, some one was killed like how Muslims kill Pigs! So Brother Wickeya only says that Muslims kill animals but not us.
Intimidation, abuse, abduction, killing, bribe taking, rape, alcohol and drug abuse are not in our vocabulary. Our heritage does not simply permit that and we all live strongly according to our cultural and religious values.
So Brother, please forgive me if you have thought that I have threatened you but there is no truth. In fact I am striving hard to do away with such bad things. So all mere misunderstanding.

yes....yes...if God permits brother wickeya too will understand. Unfortunately at present he is severely overwhelmed by bad karma and hence his painful postings but let us all pray together so that better wisdom prevails and God permits him to enter his kingdom without all his accumulated sins. |
