Will discuss possible release with SF: Anoma .

Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka`s wife Anoma Fonseka said yesterday that she would speak to her husband on discussions between Democratic National Alliance (DNA) MP Tiran Alles and President Mahinda Rajapaksa on his possible release.

Despite reports that former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka would be released next month, Fonseka`s wife Anoma yesterday said that these were only rumours as she had not been informed of such a decision. I have not received any such information from anyone. It is probably a rumour, Anoma Fonseka said.

She said there was talk of her husband`s release on January 1, 2012. However she said these were only rumours which spread after Alles made statements to that effect to the media stating that he had discussions with President Rajapaksa during the past two months to release the former Army Commander.

When asked if the discussions could lead to fruitful results, Mrs. Fonseka said she would not comment further on the matter until she had discussed it with her husband. I have to discuss the matter with my husband. The decision will be with my husband as to what could happen, she said. (Olindhi Jayasundere)

lolz this woman thinks that it is her family business ,acting thoththa baba ,i don't believe Allas discussing with MR without her or sf's knowledge lolz

What she want to ask SF whether he needs a pardon or not? Does he need or not? I'm sure Allas know the answer that s why he is discussing with MR.. These morons have big attitude mislead by few losers like MAN-GALA,Ponil and Anura Kumara.

She thinks this is like asking her husband whether Apsara can go on a school picnic lol

No she wants to know whether SF would agree to get out of politics and be her house pet.

The question is whether the war hero is willing to be a pet on a leash?

Impartial,

I hope that MR will pardon and SF will promise not to make any spurious comments ever again. President Rajapakse has his place in our history ranked with King Gamani Abhaya and King Vijayabahu the Great. Equally, General Sarath Fonseka has his place in our history as one of the giant warriors of Gamini Abhaya or General Lankapura of Parakramabahu. It is the time to end this madness and cleanup the mess created by an unwanted drama, if not for anything, it for the future of our nation.

Agree. We have to put to rest this petty fight between these two great men. This will stop others too taking advantage of the situation. Please read the following written by a tamil. Now its not genocide, but war crimes only.

yes that will be a condition for a pardon.. i guess problem is when ever he makes such comments no matter it is right or wrong demala terror gang try to get advantage over that

Yes, it did once, somewhere near Mawanella. LOL. I know enough about KD and VBK to make your hair stand on end. Now they have a holier than thou attitude.
