Hats off to Gotabhaya - Dedicated to Lalith, My good friend

Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Ministry of Defense and Urban Services, needs to be congratulated by the community on his contribution to improving the quality of life in the urban sector of Sri Lanka.

Last week, I noticed the opening of the Canal reservation from Kirimandala Road to Nawala Road Narahenpitia, Colombo 5. A section of this 20-foot road had been blocked for over 40 years by the rich and powerful who grabbed the marshes in the area.

As in most urban areas under the purview of local government authorities, those who could influence politicians, the police etc, encroach on state land. This is rampant in the areas developed since the construction of Parliament in Kotte. The state institutions were helpless vis- -vis the rich. Gotabaya has ensured that these areas are cleared.

Amana Sinhala race will know the difference between good and bad. They are confused with 24 hour Buddha desana and 12 hour soap opera world.

What Gota is carrying out today is cleaning up a 30 year old mess which was pending due to war and other issues.

Support him to carry on with these good deeds with country first mindset

Let us come close to what Malaysia today and then hopefully dream about being closer to Singapore in next 50 years.

	Debo don't get agitated with lalith or similar they are suffering from fonseka syndrome,i don't think fonseka should be in jail but the way he tried to do politics was quite dangerous to me ,he wanted quick gains over controversial statements which led him to this stage. full credit should go to Ponil , Man-Gala and red brothers .

	Imp! I am not..and not at all! Specially Lalith is my friend and You can notice that from the way I respond! Most of the Fonseka fans doesn't really know who he is.. and that is the main problem!

	All good work must be appreciated, it should benefit the city in the long run. Premadasa tried to beautify the city with roundabouts, bridges etc. Initially it looked good but ended up in a mess. We do not want to see a repeat of that!
