LankaTileke.
Most of todays sinhalese have a bloodline from 'Dravidans' who are tamil or malayalam that have integrated to sinhala community through marriages and convertion. Sinhala race is from 'Aryan',that is very fair in complexion and tall in height. We rarely see such personality in todays sinhala community because the sinhalese today is 'hybrid', by Aryan and Dravidian. Sinhalese and Tamils have no point fighting each other as you guys have same ancestral bloodline. |

Take our History.
18th Ammendment or not, we have flourished under the rule of Kings but we did not call our rulers dictators.
Take the Colonial rule. They too were Authoritarian leaderships. Yet, we did not brand them as Dictators.
Then what is the fuss ??
18th Ammendment lets give it a try what the President can do for the Community and the Country.
Afterall, we the people are the power.
History clearly showed an incorigible Dictator like Marcos too could be toppled.
THEREFORE, WHY FEAR THE 18TH AMMENDMENT ?
The fear psycosis is instilled by Morons like Basil F'do of the AHRC in HK who has blown it out of proportion in attempting to compare the Constitution of USA with that of SL.A silly Goose.
Afterall how could one compare USA with SL other than by a piig headed moron like Basil F'do who in the safety of a foreign land coughing for a vested interest for a fist full of DOLLARS.......
They say One can not Farrt against thunder NOR can the Opposition against the President at this juncture.
Then, what is this fuss, join him and attempt to get the best for each ones constituencies. |

Controversial 18th Amendment of Sri Lanka - All day debate on September 8
Can someone on LNP enlighten us on this amendment? All we hear is the potential 3rd term for a presidential candidate. Is that all?
Then it is dissapointing. Is the most important thing right now? |
