There is an spreadsheet application to record the number of votes each candidate got. Do you have any clue on the votes counting system or what a computer can do and cannot do?


It is like the constitution.

who can solve the abuse of the system ?

There is no fool proof system in place to stop those.

Rule breakers are the bosses of the system.

People clearly saw the contradictions in his camp and their statements.

it is a manual computer which select candidates and there average votes...operated from Raja Maligawa.

next GE MR will not have any main opponents.(all will be jailed)

UNP or any other party does not have a backbone to compete head to head today with MR and his GOV because they have their personal agendas. No wonder MR will get no considerable opponent.

As long as MR does what people need, He will be the leader or he will be kicked out.

it is not about alternative. there is no justification to say since no alternative for MR can do whatver he wants. we should tell wrong is wrong.


I'm NOT for this amendment.

MR should at least stick with his 2005 Mahinda chinthan where he promised to abolish presidential system and plant a premiership system.


Replacing Presidency with Premiership is also not the answer.-IMO

Executive Presidency is OK -esp. for a country like SL -but with the proper checks & balances.

But my point is this. When we are unhappy with something -next step chosing an alternative.

For me -in the last Prez election only feasible choice was MR.
If the same lot runs again today it will be the same.

Hope new alternative leadership contenders will emerge during the next term.

It seems the average Sri Lankan doesnt mind a dictatorship.
This was evident from 1970 Sirimavo govt onwards.
