Hakeem jumps the fence

Saturday, 28 August 2010 - 3:06 AM SL Time

We will support the proposed constitutional amendment of the Government, SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem said a short while ago. Hakeem said this after discussions within the High Command of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress.

Meanwhile SLMC former MP and National Organiser, Rafeek Rajabdeen told Ada Derana that the SLMC will support the Government unconditionally and will make every effort to give the 2/3rd majority to the government. Rajabdeen added that they took this step without expecting any posts.

Our opposition ministers are like grasshoppers!
They think the neighbors garden is greener than theirs.

All the power to Hakeem. He has made a selfless decision to support the Raja family to be in power for the foreseeable future, for the common good of the country.

Man can't wait to see the changes to the constitution, this is becoming more interesting than a new movie coming out or the Stanley Cup play-off.

I wonder what he will say to his voters.
Maybe they (voters) will tie him to a mango tree.

Robins, no one will think it as a racist remark and this jumper is
one of them!Just thinking of his personal welfare which will be short lived!
Has Hakeem betrayed his voters for his personal benefit?

Rafeek Rajabdeen

Is this the same Rajabdeen who owns the successful bathroom fitting and accessories business?
