Govt get loans/Aids and use that moeny to give contracts to overseas firms which they bring overseas engineers while you try to look for jobs overseas.

Hambanthota port, Colombo Port expand and new 400 acres city attached to harbour, Uma Oya, Upper Kotmale Project all are partially funded by GOSL and use local engineers knowledge.......:-)))

Oh, can escape from everything saying Lankaenws, JVP, anti-lankan, idiots and other names.
I am quite convinced that you r not in this field! And that is Y I said so!
Briefly, the chief engineer, or the project enginner and few senior engineers are usually from the contract company and You can't help with that! But from down to junior most engineer usually they hire the local engineers!
Upper Kothmale project is like that and my batchmates are working and how can prove it to u! Also port extension project, now completed, except the project engineer other were all LOCAL ENGINEERS! I am telling with full of CONFIDENCE!
That is Y I said Y shd I talk when You have already posted the answer!

Sources said that Prabha Ganeshan has informed family members that he joined the government due to the disrespectful manner in which Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe treated his brother Mano Ganeshan without appointing him to parliament through the National List. Prabha has observed that he was prepared to resign from his parliamentary seat if the UNP leadership agrees to appoint Mano to parliament to fill the vacancy.

But, it is GOSL funded partially.
Even for the company it is not economicalto bring every one from their country.
the other money is not free LOANS.
