The UNP has decided to suspend talks with the government on constitutional reforms claiming that the government was using the talks to draw opposition members to the government side.
A top UNP source said that the talks between UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and President Mahinda Rajapaksa held recently on constitutional reforms, though successful, will not continue further.
The UNP alleges that the government had roped in opposition members Prabha Ganeshan and P. Digambaram by using the talks as a tool and is now attempting to seek the support of more opposition members in order to secure the two thirds majority in Parliament |

They had a licnece to start a radio station in Sri Lanka called V fm and funded by JVP Japan branch...but after they divided as Wimal fraction and JVP main group.
I tell you something to support JVP.
Instead of playing petty politics, If JVP identify peoples' hearts work accordingly both SLFP and UNP together can not get rid of JVP.
It is upto them to think and work.
SLFP is working on personal politics, revenge and personal vendettas. |

I tell you something to support JVP.
I dont have an interest about JVP politics...now they are shouting about KP..KP has killed, KP has collected money..etc..
How about JVP leaders..? Didnt they kill, Didnt they rob...? :-)))
Are they saints...?
I had met some of their leaders here in Singapore...not worth to talk more about them....

Worse than the LTTE, actually! They killed for no reason, they killed people who smoked beedi, or read newspapers or opened shops.... |

Tamils think what ever happened was unique to them.
No country came forward to talk against because the west also wanted Communists out.
