Not only for Berty but even for any other member interested...

The nature of my response to a member is dictated by the nature of their own original post. My posts are particularly harsh on those who keep insulting Sri Lanka or the security forces. Members such as thivya, pandaram, whatreallyhap (both disappeared after they lost la la land), former chola pandyan (now Nimal Appuhamy) have been insulting other members and showing naked racism throughout their time on LNP.

It is ludicrous if anyone expects these chaps to be treated with respect. As far as I am concerned, I treat them with the contempt they deserve. I have no remorse for my insulting remarks towards them

In fact, my posts directed towards them may not even reflect my own opinion about post terrorist Sri Lanka. I recall with fondness few members here with whom I could have a decent conversation. Apart from Ariyalai AB I dont see the others any more.

Not that I have to explain my style or position to anybody, I thought it is appropriate to make my views (and occasional aggression) explained.

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) presented Americal Civil Liberties Uniion (ACLU) Attorney Ahilan Arulanantham with the 2010 Arthur C. Helton Human Rights Award

Tamils are going to call shots in the US now...

Arulanantham, whose parents are from Jaffna, is a former law clerk to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, a graduate of Yale Law School, and a graduate of Oxford University, which he attended as a Marshall Scholar.

This is potential Secretary of State material....! Oh man, imagine this Eezham Tamil in place where Hillary or Obama is now???

Berty

U dragged me into a conversation by being sarcastic

Yes I admit my original comment was full of sarcasm intended to cause mischief. I still stand by my view that you deliberately selected news from DM or wherever because they put SL in a bad light. As such I have no remorse for my sarcasm towards you. Naturally no apologies would be forthcoming (I am sure you didnt expect any either)

trust me..I never hated you for a mint

I am hapy to take you word.

I am not a kid my friend..I am sure your not too..(if you had gone to the same class as Gaja)

LOL of course I am not a kid. Not that it is important, but I didnt go to same class as Gaja. But I studied from the same teacher as Gaja after I reckon more than a decade. The difference of course is Gaja passed I failed with flying colours.

can you explain to me what makes you think you might have attracted hated from me

That I cant explain. It is more an opinion than a fact. But as I said I am happy to take your word if you say you have no hatred towards me. Most kind

and if you can change your attitude others will look better in your own eyes

No Berty, I cant and I wont. As I explained earlier anybody who insults Sri Lanka or Security forces, my response will be full of ridicule and insults. Remember I explained earlier? I have no desire to be a saint

Oh..I missed that post of urs Moby..just saw it..let me answer u..sure

So my question is,

How can a race that denies water to another human being ever have the right to demand to be treated equally?

Do you think think that eons of curses from thirsty people have resulted in their current dilemma?

anyone denies water to any human who is thirsty is an inhuman in my books..when i was in Hostel in Jaffna we took water from the same well..Boys do not even know who is from where? but In Hindu Customs these high/low class did exist those days (I am talking about 60's and 70's)..I can't talk about it now cos I am not sure what is going on there now..

I ask you this because you are from Jaffna and though you never mentions it, you ooze the High Caste Jaffna mentality,. far more than that wannabe high caste Thivya.

In christian families the caste system does not exist and since I am a christian I never felt the caste system..I have seen the dhoby right inside our house..so I am 100% sure we never practiced them..but I must admit, i had a very good friend who is a hindu in college..and one day I went to his house for lunch and while I was seated in the Varendhah I saw the dhoby coming in and he was standing outside their compound and did not even enter the gate..so I called him to come in and he said NO..and when my friend came out..i asked him why can't he come in..and he said it si cos of the caste..he said his parents practice it but not him..I was annoyed..I told him he should not follow and he said sure..

yes..answer to your question..the caste system was there..and the well example will be one of those which I am sure Hindu's would have followed..

I am sure you have some serious sinhalese system too right Moby?
