I have said this many times. DIASPORA HAS NO INTEREST IN HELPING TAMILS IN SRI LANKA. There is nothing to indicate any concern. It is all a hogwash
Even when LTTE was active in Sri Lanka, there was division among LTTE tamils because of the allegation that new immigrants buying very expensive houses.
DVLADV should have heard stories like that in their area. |

The President of the Management and Finance Union of the Ruhuna University was arrested by the Matara Police for his alleged involvement in holding the Vice Chancellor of the university hostage on June 16th. |

KP is firmly of the opinion that Tamil Eelam is a lost cause and that the armed struggle is a thing of the past. He feels that the immediate priority of Sri Lankan Tamils is to get out of the tragic situation they are in right now. The future is to live with equal rights and dignity in a united ,pluralistic Sri Lanka.
KP also expressed regret for the violence perpetrated by the LTTE against civilians and hardship caused during the course of the LTTE campaign for Tamil Eelam. A remorseful KP tendered an open apology to all the people of Sri Lanka for the suffering caused in the past.

At least upto now, I don't see what he has brought to the table. Unless you know some thing I don't.
I don't follow you. Explain it.
Currently the bare essentials are coming from Col. Tamils are displaced and not in a position of bringing and running a business more over the govt and army restriction makes their life miserable so the forign money coming to the families is getting sucked by the south. |

A mother in Naula forced her two young children to consume poison this morning resulting in the death of one child while the other child is in serious condition.
The mother, who had subsequently consumed poison, is also in hospital, the police said. According to the police the two children are aged 10 and 5 while the mother is 30 years of age.
The five year old child died on admission to the Matale hospital. The Naula police are conducting further investigations. (Daily Mirror online) |

forign money coming to the families is getting sucked by the south.
I was listening to Champaka. He said
50% of the money spent on power (some 17 billion rupees) goes to the North and East. Guess who is supporting this..all Sri Lankans |
