What a shame. The real shame is that people who can DO something about stuff like this don't see it that way! |

| You know, I try to defend MR/GoSL because I don't want people running down Sri Lanka and I respect them (yes AnuD, SF too) for getting rid of the LTTE, but I wonder how sound their judgment is and how well they can run a country if they allow and see nothing wrong with stuff like this. |

What Mervyn did was good in spirit, but, the act went back into the stone age. I feel this is a symptom of what is known as Island Fever. No doubt there's a lot here to reflect. We must admit that some of our guys are a bit lazy, first. Then we can go from there. Serving the people is a serious business. If you are not doing your job that you're being paid for, there must be some solution.
I have said before that Mervyn has some style. He still does. But that weird craziness of that Island Fever or Stir Crazy, can make for outlandish acts.
I wonder who thinks I'm crazy. D

Weerawansa did another.
Duminda Silva did another.
HOw many go unnoticed.
Even for this one, the solution will be based on ONE VOTE, against another bunch of political appointees.
This is how the court system works.
