In the East, Muslims have begun JIHAI against Buddhist temples.
PM Buddhist monks and people of the area staged a protest today (Aug 02) against the recent destruction of several buildings of Samabodhi Vihara in Arugam Bay.
A certain group, aided by Pottuvil Police, had reportedly used bulldozers and razed the buildings 10 days ago, alleges chief incumbent Ven. Sivurumulle Dhammasiri Thera.
Meeting the protestors this morning, DIG R.M. Weerasuriya promised to apprehend the culprits within three days and to renovate the destroyed buildings.
Thereafter, the demonstration has come to a close.
Some of the destroyed constructions at the temple had been opened in 2003 by president Mahinda Rajapaksa, who was leader of the opposition at the time.
According to reports, a group lead by a son-in-law of a former police chief was responsible for the act.

But the Tamils say in the name of waging war against insurgents, carpet bombing the homes and villages, burrying alive the children, using food, medicine and rape as the weapon of war, killing and maiming the humanitarian workers, bombing the hospitals and schools, designating a place as the safe zone and bombing the same place to kill innocent civilians, using illegal cluster bombs and using chemical weapons etc are criminal acts committed by the Sri Lankan government.
Nonsense... all these and more are perfectly acceptable methods to fight evil. |

Read the following news article and find out whether this media man should be hanged from his balls, or the the entire website should be banned.
I feel like this reporter raped that pregnant lady million times infront of the world. He does not have a spine to name the people who did that, but was so keen to provide the address, name, height and all the actions performed.
If any newly formed group give this reported a Razor blade treatment, the whole media will rise up again.
