COLOMBO: P Ariyanethiran, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP for the Eastern Sri Lankan district of Batticaloa, has written to President Mahinda Rajapaksa asking him to release 765 Tamil young men and women who are kept in various prisons in the island for suspected links with the LTTE.
I thought rehabilitation takes time..like getting them married, giving them job skills..No other country will treat terror suspects like what SL does.

The Hydra Headed Monster,80 Million Tamils Worldwide is 5crewing up Silly Lanka...
the biggest threat for the govt. is posed by the Tamil Tiger Diaspora chain. . The Govt. was of the view that no sooner KP was taken into custody than it could crush the Tamil Tiger Diaspora Int. chain.
But , until today , one year after KP s arrest the Govt. had not been able to destroy it. Castro s document was taken into the possession of the Govt. from his computer about the time the war was concluded. Now it is over an year since the war ended, yet the Govt. could not use Castro s document to devastate the Tamil Tiger chain. The Govt. had sufficient time to accomplish that. It is deducible from this the Govt. could not extract the vital information it needed from Castro s document..

Palm Beach police in the US turned over six men from Sri Lanka to the U.S. Border Patrol today after noticing them walking down the street in wet pants, police said.
According to spokesman Sgt. Curtis Krauel, a patrol officer noticed the men at 6:40 a.m. (Tuesday) heading south at County Road near Seminole Avenue.
All six were between the ages of 20 and 40. They all appeared to be good health, police said.
Their pant legs were wet up to their knees, leading police to believe they had been dropped off by a boat, though no boat was found.
They had Sri Lankan currency and U.S. cash on them, and indicated they did not speak English, according to police. They were not carrying any bags but they did have cell phones. Police also said the men did not provide information about themselves to investigators.

Were the killers brought to book? We must find who they are and must be punished.
LTTE terrorists are destroyed but the govt henchmen are still at work.
Unless justice is done to those killed by both the LTTE and govt forces we must let the memory renewed. Justice must be done to the victims. Otherwise terrorist activities will continue as abductions, extortion and extra judicial killings go unabated. |
