Trying to make the Courts Gen. Fonseka s residence: four cases in one day!

(Lanka-e-News, July 27, 2010, 10.50PM) The Magistrate of Colombo Rashmi Singapulli ordered the CID yesterday (26) to inform Courts on the 2nd August of the progress made in regard to the case filed by the Attorney General against Gen. Fonseka allegedly for keeping in his custody 10 Army deserters and plotting to overthrow the Govt.

After Gen. Fonseka and his Secretary Senaka Silva were produced before the Courts yesterday, this order to the CID was issued by the Magistrate.

When the HiCORP deal case was taken up yesterday at the Colombo Fort Magistrate Courts, the Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne instructed that the suspects in the case, Gen. Fonseka, Tradent Wellington De Hoedt and Dhanuna Thilakaratne shall be produced in Court on 05th August.

In connection with the white flag story case filed against Gen. Fonseka by the Attorney general, the Chief Magistrate Rashmi Singapulli ordered that Gen. Fonseka be produced before the Three judge panel of the High Court on the 29th when the case is to be heard by that Court.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court decided yesterday to take up hearing on the 13th of September of the writ application filed by Gen. Fonseka to preclude the first military Court from conducting proceedings against him.

What the F ing Sovereigneity when they cant afford to give food/livelihood to ppl even one year after the war ?

Srilanka still feeding Tamil IDPs.

As per the World Food Program, almost half of the world s population who are deprived of food live in India. Another website of a well known NGO (http://www.bread.org/learn/hunger-basics/hunger-facts-international.html) offers a grim picture of this particular...

If Police attacks Neighbourhoods why NEighbourhoods people can not attack Police.

Why Police has extra powers to be Thugs and Criminals ??

July 28, Colombo: Colombo Additional Magistrate Lal Bandara Ranasinghe criticized Sri Lanka police today for failing to conduct investigations regarding alleged police attacks on 13 houses in Mattakkuliya area in Colombo city.

Mattakkuliya police failed to provide an answer to a question asked by the magistrate regarding investigations. The magistrate said that he could not accept the common answer that the attacks were conducted by unknown persons.

My my, Chennai, you seem to understand a little Sinhala now. Perhaps you've been spending a little too much time on LNP.

What the F ing Sovereigneity when they cant afford to give food/livelihood to ppl even one year after the war ?
Very resilient these people you talk about Chennai. One year without food and still alive? Simply miraculous.

Of course, speaking to this underpaid, under class, under educated low caste, data Entry operator Suresh Skklia, one would think he lives in a Utopia, and not a Sh11topia.
