Sorry to disappoint you Berty, but he was not ''captured'' in Malaysia. As for the money which you are talking about - KP did not have free access to all the money of the ltte. In someone's infinite wisdom, it was spread among quite a few people, some of whom are not even known to the inner circles of the ltte. A couple of ships which were anchored within reachable distance are the ones in SL custody right now. Today, the biggest threat for the govt. is posed by the Tamil Tiger Diaspora chain. . The Govt. was of the view that no sooner KP was taken into custody than it could crush the Tamil Tiger Diaspora Int. chain. But , until today , one year after KP s arrest the Govt. had not been able to destroy it. Castro s document was taken into the possession of the Govt. from his computer about the time the war was concluded.
Now it is over an year since the war ended, yet the Govt. could not use Castro s document to devastate the Tamil Tiger chain. The Govt. had sufficient time to accomplish that. It is deducible from this the Govt. could not extract the vital information it needed from Castro s document..
