A senior official of the Ministry of External Affairs will visit Sri Lanka to assess the progress of rehabilitation measures in northern and eastern provinces, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has informed Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.
In his letter of July 22, Dr. Singh stated that the official would consult India's High Commissioner and local authorities. The move to send the official was a measure of our continuing interest and the importance that we attach to this issue.

India (Central government) many times thanks Srilanka and MR.R for what Srilanka did, axed your VP and destroy Great Peelam dream which includes Tamil Nadu and N &E Srilanka. NO MORE PEELAM! Are you kidding? Politicians interfere into Police duties everyday in SL..No President has had the guts to rule it illegal for any politician to call Police and interfere.
This is one of many curses of our country.When will our 'so called' leaders to the right thing for the people?

India has achieved its objective of Destroying Sillylanka & made Srilanka move further further away from Western Nations..India was only against VP & not against Eelam as such if it helps in keeping china @ bay !
The Merger of Eelam with TN can never be stopped by any force..
India is helping the process by opening Palali airport in Jaffna, ThalaiMannar Ferry Service from Rameswaram, & Railway projects all over Eelam...
80 Million Tamils can hop in anytime into Eelam via TN..

Upto certain level, I agree with you. But when compare with India or Tamil Nadu police, Srilankan police and politicians are thousand times better. |

u don't compare Police with other countries..u make an effort to improve our own system if there is a flaw..
what ru saying one day if we are worse than India (as per your claim) then we say..but we are still better than Zimbabwe.. |
