Yet another case filed against General for announcing riots will be started against SL Govt.

The CID has filed a petition before the Magistrate Court on the 12th against Gen. Fonseka and a Secretary of his in relation to an allegation that he is trying to incite riots against the Govt.
This is the third petition filed against Gen. Fonseka in Courts.

The petition claims that after withdrawing ten soldiers from the army, riots are to be provoked against the govt. and he has given orders to them to abandon their duties. The second suspect named in the petition is Fonseka s co ordinating Secretary Senaka De Silva.

The chief Magistrate Rashmi Singapuli instructed the CID to forward the findings to Court on the 29th after the investigation in connection with the order allegedly given to commence riots against the Govt.

In addition to this, there are two other cases filed against Gen. Fonseka. In connection with the white flag story, in the Magistrate Court, Hultsdorf and regarding the Hi Corp deal in the Magistrate Court, Fort.
The Attorney General has instructed the Chief Justice to hear the case pertaining to the white flag story in the High Court, Colombo before a three judges panel.

When the case relating to the white flag story was heard yesterday (12) in the Chief Magistrate Court, Colombo, the Sate Counsel Amith Thotawatte requested Court to place Fonseka in remand custody, when the Attorney at Law, Nalin Laduhetty appearing for Fonseka objected on the ground that Fonseka is subject to death threats. Therefore when transporting him in the prisons Van to and from Courts there is danger to his life. Hence, he requested that, he being a former Army Commander he should be kept in Army custody.

The Magistrate complying with the request ordered the Prisons Commissioner to arrange for Fonseka to be held in Army custody.

Attorneys at law ,HLG Bandara. Sharmila Peiris, Sunil Watawala, Manjula Pathiraja,Kelum Obeysekera and Nalin Ladduwahetti appeared for Fonseka.

Why couldn't our Rt. Hon. Facebook President instigate riots all this time?
