Needless to say there are many more. Those who don't have a movie release in the next couple of months are attending!
Last time, singalese chauvunists bombed Sharukh Khan's show. This time, their brothers on the otherside are taking their turn.

Those who don't have a movie release in the next couple of months are attending!
Does that mean, any one who is attending and their films are banned only for next couple of months in Chennai. I have booked a ticket for kites (obviously in a south Indian metro) this week end. Let me check if I get refunded or get to watch the movie. |

As I remember it wasn't some hardcore political party which threw the grenade (what I remember), it was due to a gang fight between two underworld gangs. But I might be wrong here, I just go through one news headline I saw. |

The South India/ North India divide is in your imagination and your imagination is probably ugly!
If Shiv Sena in Mumbai had asked these guys to boycott, all of them based in Mumbai would have skipped and the ones on South aould have attended.
This has nothing to do with south india or north India.

Wrong. Yes there were some protests, but when Sharukh apologized the protest was over.
Sri Lanka underworld will use any occasion to eliminate their target. So many thugs were killed right infront of courts, inside prisons and even in HSZ.
I cannot find the article which says the grenade attack was done because of underworld clashes.
But it's funny and wrong when someone says the bombing was INSPIRED by Singalese chauvunism.
Its not right when you try to paint some underworld incident as 83 black july incident. |
