I guess you have a problem understanding plain English. I already mentioned that everyone in the Tamil Diaspora helps their family and friends in Sri Lanka. The Tamils in Sri Lanka are still maintaining some kind of quality life not because of the government development or big Industries providing employment opportunities to the Tamils.
I have no issues in understanding plain English. I asked you a specific question as to what 'YOU' have done to the betterment of the Northern Tamils and you washed your hands off by giving a very vague answer about the Tamil Diaspora.
If you get a chance to travel to Jaffna anytime soon you will see the govt sponsored development taking place. The private sector is willing to invest in the North as responsible corporate citizens to uplift the lives of the fellow Sri Lankans in the North. so with or withour the Diaspora funds we are helping the Northern brethren to pickup their lives to live peacefully.
a transparent system of check and balance for the aid projects, the Tamil Diaspora will pour money into Sri Lanka to help their brethren and build the North East I find it silly that you were willing to pour in money with your eyes closed to the LTTE to destroy the lives of your fellow brethren but now when it comes to development & upliftment of their lives you want to see check and balances of the funds verified by independent observers! :)
