Good photos, buddy...
But, Jaffna was under Sri Lankan government control all those 30 years.... Why GOSL did not develop the train system in Jaffna Peninsular and let this main terminal to run down?
Very nice photos... especially the one where a bannian tree wrapped a train car....!

yes, Jaffna station could have been rebuilt but where should the railway tracks should connected to from Jaffna?
build the railway track in the skies of elephant pass & wanni ?
probably GOSL should have built Helium balloon train tracks from Jaffna to Medawachchiya/Anuradhapura. :)) |
