Sri Lanka s biggest spring located in Mannar - near Madhu Church

Sri Lanka`s biggest spring with the capacity to produce 7000 liters of water per minute has been located near the Madhu Church in Mannar, the Water Supply and Drainage Board Area Manager Upul Wickremaratne told Daily Mirror.

have you came through a well in Puttalam (IDP area, i think caled 'dambapanni')..... all surrounding wells are salty,,, they can bath,,,,, only one in the middle has sweet drinking water,,,, no too much water in it,, just 1-1&half feet of water,,,, but was enough to supply water for whole Puttalam city during dry season,,, have seen it 5-6yrz back,,,,,
