Baila Singer Saman de Silva Joins UPFA - new assignment given immediately

Monday, 27 July 2009 - 12:15 PM SL Time

National Organiser of the UNP`s Arts Circle and veteran artiste Saman de Silva met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at President`s House, Kandy yesterday and joined the UPFA. The veteran UNP activist contested Colombo district under the UNP ticket at the last Western Provincial Council Election.

At a time when the President is making all efforts to develop the country after defeating terrorism it is not proper to engage in any political activity against him, he said. `I will lend all my support to the President`s efforts in future`, De Silva said. Several film artistes were also present.

Just for fun......... lolz

Ramz,

Over to Kurunegela............

Sri Lanka A are batting, discarded Mahela Udawatte is playing nicely unbeaten on 43 and Kandamy on 42, currently they are 89 for 02 off 16.

Upul Tharanga gone for a first ball golden duck.....where is Ashantha?

My man is Kandamby, as mentioned earlier by me, he should play at Dambulla.
