Withing reasons religious concepts needs to be changed according to modern day requirements.
When I was reading about Industrial Revoltion I found this:
Protestant work ethic - a value system that stresses the moral value of work, self-discipline, and individual responsibility as the means to improving one's economic well-being. |

This will be a good example for Sri Lanka.
Moreover, the example of East Asia shows that a country can become very prosperous in absolute and relative terms without ever having been Christian at all, or after having consciously rejected Christian cultural influences.
Japan is the most conspicuous example here, but Korea, Kuomintang Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and mainland China (at least after Deng Xiaoping) have all developed an East Asian counterpart to the Protestant work ethic, or at least imported and adopted that work ethic without the religious support of Protestantism.
As we know there are good percentage of Bhuddist in Japan, Taiwan, HK, Singapore and China. |

As we know there are good percentage of Buddhist in Japan
Nearly all Japanese are Buddhist, though they dont practice it the way we do it in SL. Generally, when someone died, almost all Japanese people are following Buddhist customs.
In general life, they practice both Shintoism and Buddhism.
In the new year eye, people are visiting nearest temple, no matter its a Buddhist or Shinto temple.
I know one big such Buddhist temple in NARITA (near Tokyo), 10,000s of people visit within first few days of the year. |

Time has changed, please drop your old hate and belief on the diaspora. Jumping horse may be necessary when the situation changes. |

Big Buddha
This statue is the world's largest Buddha statue, by using bronze, it's 34 metres tall and weighs 250 tonnes, empowered in December 1993.
It costs nothing to reach the Big Buddha, however, one has to purchase a vegetarian coupon for entry into the 3 levels exhibition hall beneath the Big Buddha.
You can also use the new cable cars (takes 25 mints) to get there

Jumping horse may be necessary when the situation changes.
This is necessary, and that is not a strange behavior of human nature. People follow some ideologies, sometimes with devastating impact on others, but at certain point, they have to realize the path is not correct.
Then they have to change it, may be through a huge pain and loss to own group and other people too.
Anyway, in modern society, people accept and tolerate these changes. Sri Lanka is one such place. Those who did wrong(leaders) will be punished, but the mass will be benefited by the change. |

There is one near Tokyo (Tsukuba), and I thought its the tallest. It had a genus record too (120m high..!). They made it in sections in Thailand and then fiexd in that place.

Pls read this on the Big Buddha in Hong kong

I do agree with Human behavior and changes..
whether it is taking sides in War/Peace/Politics or even simple family issues people tend to support their beliefs and policies that they felt right at that time. I will admire a guy who changes position when he or she realizes that it was a mistake/error of judgment or simply wrong and admits the error and changes and support the right path rather than still hanging on to his own decision which is wrong..
Pls note no one is perfect..we all make mistakes and we all sin
