Everyone is white washing MR of whom i am still Skeptical..
India openly said that for getting aid of 500 crores, SL has to come up with a viable project & there is a deafening silence from SL side to uplift the lifes of IDPs.
does 13th amendment or next elections need our attention than the lives of IDPs ? |

To whom are you telling stories, i am talking about civilians who were still civilians but killed by SLDF.
That is no reason for Rioting..It should not be allowed and a responsible Government will stop it at all cost.

MR has given his word and he clearly tells those who does not want to support it can leave the government. let us go with it..This will be the best for the Tamil people.
In the past a lot of us questioned whether there will ever be a peaceful proposal to solve the Tamil issues and when we get it you are being skeptical
Regarding IDP every one wants this issue to be settled soon but it will take time..don't blame the Government for the state of the IDP's, blame the LTTE for the present suffering of the Tamil people in camps. Did you read about the posters inside the IDP camps about VP is not dead etc..so there are still some elements of the LTTE in these camps..they have to be screened and settled and MR has said he will settle them in 180 days..I think that is fair enough.
it is better to be on MR's side rather than against him! |

There are members writing under different names for reasons best known to them. Some of us think that they are spineless creeps. I have no ability to tell which one is what and under what handle. Presumably Mr Brown can identify them and do the needful!
But I know there are some shared handles and I personally dont care for posts by those shared handles. Idea is to chat with bonafide members not with some paid employees trying to pass wind for someone else.
Heyyy, not a problem that is their chosen vocation and I sincerely hope it is a better pay than other available but allgedly less than respectable professions.

There is no choice now but when there is a mistake / error done by GOSL those issues must be raised up..
The Aid ship issue was badly handled by GOSL.. |

| I am well Berty. Like many others I do hope that there will be permanent solution for the Tamils in Sri Lanka. The obstacle was the LTTE and the elimination of the LTTE was necessary. Time has now come though to make sure that Tamils in SL gets a decent solution. LTTE was never a part of the solution but rather a part of the problem. Solving IDP issue should assume priority now. |
