Iross:
People labelled MR for being hardline, racist you name it. True, he was hardline against terrorism. That too after giving LTTE so many opportunities. But, LTTE never stopped. Killed VIPs, and soldiers during ceasefire. MR asked them once, twice. Then threatened them. But, LTTE never stopped. Once MR started his action against LTTE, he never stopped. He should be commended for that. All alone, he said that he will devolve power. Now, MR is going to follow through. Idiots like Champika Ranawaka will scream. That is acceptable. But, the majority of the country is with MR. Majority supports power devolution. |

MR is a hard liner and a nationalist.Champika is not a idiot when compare to others...he is one of the productive in MR cabinet.
MR had to bring results against Terror to survive as he couldn't deliver in other sectors...Diaspora made VP to sacrifice...they expected IC to Involve in a big way...undermineing Sri Lankan sovereignty. |

Fresh from the defeating of the Tigers if President Rajapaksa takes even a drastic decision on this issue no one would be able to convince the country that he is going to bifurcate or betray the country. This is an opportunity that never a Head of State in this country has been offered.
Daily mirror article, good point. |

LTTE never represented Majority Tamils...they hood winked tamil interests.
Neither they had a vision for politics or history...they tried to change everything against Tamils and it happened finally.

TNA has requested a one-to-one meeting with MR.
Seems they want to catch the missed bus.
This is the missing link of the MR's strategy and hope things will move well. |
