They all are Pakistanis. There is no single Sri Lanka pilot in this group photo. If they are Sri lanka Air Force personnel, please let us know their names and designations. Do not mislead the public.

Princexx,
Probably you can give this picture to the Indian Mig 27 Pilots who have 'Training Exercises' with these guys:))These guys are the jet pilots who fly Kfirs, Mig 27s and F7s, this picture doesn't have the MI24 pilots, transport aircraft pilots (Y12, Y8, AN32 and C130) and Bell 212, 412 pilots.
BlackPanther the loser,
Dude if it eases your pain of being a stateless loser for the rest of your life, we are happy about it.
YES WE ARE MISLEAD:))))) To the core:)))) |

Who is revealing their identities like this ?
I do not release information that is not cleared for civilian release. This information was cleared for public release.
It is time that these pilots get their due public recognition for their success. They have been recognized by their military peers (internal and external) and now it appropriate to identify the thin blue line in the sky.
Why they have 'Pelasthara' on their knees ?
I do not understand the word but you may be referring to the G-suits worn by some. Also, some have aircraft checklists and other information (such as radio frequencies and call signs) placed in their thigh webbing. When seated in the cockpit, the top of the two thighs are good places to keep this information handy. All one has to do is glance down and look at the information through the clear plastic covers before executing the command etc. Even in aircraft with the newer multifunction displays/huds this method still works and comes in handy.

Which one of them missed the Zlin twice in close range over Colombo?
The question YOU should be asking is WHO is the pilot in this group who broke off the engagement because he deemed that his firepower would not only rip the enemy aircraft but would probably impact general population below in Colombo. If you have already seen the release video, you clearly see see the pilot fire and then pull up and out because he does not want to press the engagement and hence endanger civilians. Would the shoot down of the LTTE craft mean the same if canon fire from the interceptor also killed/maimed and destroyed the hapless people on the ground? Are you aware of how dense the structures/people are in Colombo?
This lot have done a commendable job.
Gee. Thanks. How many precision strikes do you think they did to get your commendable badge? How many LTTE leaders got killed or had to scurry into holes. How many LTTE leaders lived in fear because at any given moment they would go the same way as Tamil Selvam. How many SL infantry (or as i call them true canonfodder) were saved by the timely destruction of LTTE targets. The SLAF jet fighter squadron not only opened a new front i.e. aerial firepower it sent fear to through the hearts of every LTTE fighter. There is nothing worse than a MiG-27 coming in at just below supersonic speed with a full bomb load of death. absolutely nothing...You should ask the LTTE members here how they shake at the thought of the SLAF jet fighters hunting in the air. These pilots did this job with the minimum of aircraft and equipment. For e.g. the average USAF frontline fighter squadron deploys about 24 aircraft into battle..if one or more goes 'tech' for long periods, others get rotated in from depots..The SLAF's WHOLE operational strength is under 20 and on any given day the number int he air could be far less. Also, these aircrafts (except for the F-7G) are 20-30 years old..
But heli pilots were the heros who risked their lives in dangerous circumstances. Let us not forget them too while hailing the 'elite' gang.
Nobody diminished their role. #4 squadron and #9 has been equally fantastic! Please do not try to create any divisions. They all fight for one flag. There has been plenty of coverage of their actions. |
