I already replied Pawan...Indian Military Doctors know very well how IDPs are treated by SLA & hence indian Home minister asked for complete Media access to camps & also to do more..

It is inhumane to treat people inside barbed wires with no access to quality food & sanitation ..

We r recovering from a 30 year war, so send in your help to tamils in SL who has roots in TN. talks only wouldnt suffice.

True. I guess some must be helping. Because there are lot of NGOs here itching to do something. :)

And also Indian Government is also helping, so even if me or Chennai or anyone in India don't give something from our pocket, our government is doing that for us. :)

If the majority Tamils of Sri Lanka is 100% against MR, TNA will never participate the meeting with him. I dont know your high confidence about international media, but the reality is people are doing relatively better in IDP camps.

Sansare,

Neither majority of Tamils in Sri Lanka nor the TNA is in a position to express their opinion freely in the Sinhala Terror State under Sinhala Pol Pot Mahinda rule. No matter how you spin it, the TNA is not participating after conducting a survey among the IDP Tamils in the Sinhala concentration camps.

They are participating to avoid the Sinhala Terror States white van abductions and eventual murder or they are hoping to get some relief for the IDP Tamil by participating in this meeting. They might be participating for the request of India also. This is funny that you spin their participation in that meeting as the Tamils' support for Mahinda Rajapukse. :))))))

You have the nerve to say the IDPs are doing 'relatively happy' but I am saying it is illegal, and gross human right abuse even under the Sri Lankan constitution to keep the Tamils in these camps.

That's why the Holocaust surviver, Jewish icon, and Nobel laureate, Professor Elie Wiesel, in a message posted on his website said: 'Wherever minorities are being persecuted we must raise our voices to protest. According to reliable sources, the Tamil people are being disenfranchised and victimized by the Sri Lanka authorities. This injustice must stop. The Tamil people must be allowed to live in peace and flourish in their homeland.'

It s Jaffna Onions
With stocks of Jaffna onions reaching the Dambulla Economic Centre the price of onions had come down by half. Accordingly a Kilo of onions that was sold at Rs. 100 is now being sold at Rs. 50. Traders are scene here cleaning the just arrived Onion from Jaffna at the Dambulla Economic Centre today. Pic by Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa

Jaffna Tamils seems to be integrating well with the rest of the Sri Lankan society

At least TNA can now talk what they think, before they are just muttering what the ltte told them to tell. change will come gradually, give them some time.

Before they had the choice of going to Vanni for personal safety but now they have nowhere to hide and must face the Sinhala white van everywhere in the island. So, they will think twice before expressing their opinion against the Sinhala Terror State.

Why Tamil Diaspora don't feel guilty or apologetic towards the Sinhala and Muslim IDPs they chased away from the North ?

Why diaspora are very worried about 270,000 Makkal Padai and Maaveerar families ?

Pawan,

Are you trying to be funny or what? Selling onion to Sinhalese cannot be called integration. The Jaffna Tamils have been selling Onions and Tobacco to Sinhalese for centuries, it doesn't mean the Jaffna Tamils wanted to integrate with the Sinhalese. :))))))))

It may be hard get adjusted to freedom of thought so soon after the decimation of ltte, but just check your posts before posting. I used the term integration, not interrogation.
