how come tamils had aproblem in sinhala becoming the official language in 56? was tamil the official language before?
if so then how come they were not bothered when English was the official language?

u have to b a tamil language speaker to find that problem
so tell us what r the problems you have faced since n after 56 where you were required to learn sinhala instead of english? |

Your President already declared loud and clearly that there is NO more LTTE.
Yes there aren't, and you cannot hear anykind of attacjks on the military, bomb blasts, artillery firing to China bay etc.etc..means there is no ltte..
It means that ltte was soundly and fairly defeated by a much powerful, intelligent, skilled and a professional army!
Now my point is what the president gives you have to take..like it or not! Is that O.K with U. So stop blabbering here with your lies..
You can't no more justify the Sinhala atrocities against the Tamil people
Still how r you going to justify the money given to ltte was actually used to kill their own people! Can you deny this

was english the language of tamils?

Everybosu know that suthern Sri Lankas official language was Sinhala all the time.
It is true that before westerners came, Northern Sri Lanka was rulled by Tamil kings and most probably Tamil language was used.
So when it becomes Sinhala suddenly it should be a problem for them.
You should know that even Tamil kings of Jaffna were faught with Porcugees like Kotte Kingdom.
