Yep LTTE didn t have a chance against the combined efforts of SLDF, India, USA, China, Pakistan and Iran.
USA boasts as a country made up of Ethnic minorities. Yet,
USA is only few hundred years old ( formed in 1776). Sri Lanka with few thousand years of history with minorities should have been an example for USA. But that was not the case.
only recently, they began to recruit minorities to the army.
How recent ? First world war 1914 ?

You almost always post intelligent posts and allow me to explain the ethnic compsition of the SLA.
The SLA has NO restriction against the recruitment of ethnic minorities. The SLA (or the SL Police) do not seek to recruit only Sinhalease.
The SLA can ONLY recruit those who come to be recruited. We dont have forced recruitment like the way terrorists did.
If you dont see enough Tamils or Muslims in the SLDF ranks that is because they simply did not come to be recruited. I have seen some making ludicrous arguements about the SLA bbeing predominantly Singhalease and I have explained whenever I can why it is.
So here I am explaining to you as well. If the SLA goes about forcibly recruiting Tamils and Muslims just because they happen to have some % as a population you guys will be srying foul too!
If they come forward to be recruited and if they satisfy qualifications including the age, and pass the fitness test they will be recruited.
I hope you will put this matter to rest because your arguement on this gives the wrong impression that the govt or the SLDF has a policy of not recruiting candidates from minorities. Hope it is clear.

There was no combined efforts by other nations but only SLDF men and women who showed the LTTE where to go. Of course the govt bought weapons and technology from the countries you pointed and from many others. Those are commercial transactions for which the govt paid.
Surely the LTTE also bought weapons and technology from the same countries. Going by your arguements the LTTE also had the combined efforts by those countries and STILL LOST.
Countries and terrorists buy arms from different sources. But they are used by the men and women on the ground (SLDF in this case) and the battlefield. Those who were brave enough and capable enough defeated the opponents. Diaspora gullibles could not stomach that the terrorists they funded were roundly defeated and started seeking refuge of flimsy excuses. I am waiting to see some multicells giving excuses such as it was rainy season or it was because Nadesan's wife was having a common cold! Anything is possible with the diaspora lot!!
So pleeease, dont embarrass yourself with this lame excuse that the LTTE lost because of some nonexistant combined efforts. They lost because they were just not good enough.
Ohhh yes... before I forget, there were some retards claiming that there were Indian soldiers fighting alongside SLA. That was the most hilarious!! There were no indian soldiers and honestly, do you think India can send men just like that without the approvals of the parliament.
It was not you but some other muulticelled retard blabbering about Indian army together with the SLA in the battle field. Cant remember which idiot it was.
So once again, it is true that the govt bought weapons from these countries but they were used, bravely and effectively by the SLDF to eliminate terrorists.

Tamils and muslims may be partially to blame, however GOSL should make an effort to recruit them. Yes, it shouldn t be conscription.

It is too much of coincidence that LTTE lost after the 9/11 and associated crack down by USA (and other countries) on all worlds rebellion movements. |
