Modaya,
When Eelam tamils were starving, TN CM made collections himself personally & got So much money for their aid...
The real truth TN CM made collections himself and using these very same funds, at Election time, he gave away a free pair of Bata Slippers to anyone who voted for him. The other less fortunate one's got Broken down black & white Televisions with a promises of Little Now, More Later.
Much More Later TN CM made his Sons and Daughters MP's. Keep paying Bit** |

Yes, the East is ready for tourism. The roads and bridges and infrastructure (electricity etc) are truly amazing but what of the change in minister so soon after the change of branding for tourisn Sri Lanka ?
Is it that the ex-minister has collected his commision on all the marketing expenses and it is now time for another one to make his money ? |

Sri Lanka has won the war after Thirty years of endless sufferings but how long this victory can last before we start another?
Singhalese nationalistic ideology is as equally dangerous & harmful to the nation as much as LTTE. They want to suppress the voice of the minorities & slow down the growth potential as the more educated, successful the people are, they know that it challenges their own very existence in politics.
This is the time the Tamils should rally around Mahinda Rajapakse strengthening his hands as this bickering/troubles doesn t take us anywhere as a Nation. This is the only chance that we will get for a solution that brings lasting peace to our land, shading all the difference walking towards a true Nationalistic agenda rising from the ashes of the Thirty year brutal war.
There will be no other powerful president in our time who can stop history repeating
by bringing all the Sri Lankans under one flag, who has the backing of the greater majority of the Sinhalese community (including the nationalistic elements) specially
at a time when the whole country is believing-in-him as someone who did what he said. There will be no other powerful president in our time who has the guts to take bold initiatives for the greater good of the entire nation, who can fight nationalistic ideology
in the South, up North & elsewhere.
President soon will call a presidential election & then a general election to follow the success & establish himself wiping-off those nationalistic elements who sits on our
Way. In fact these nationalistic elements knows that if they go against the majority
now their political future will end right here.
We have so many Tamil businesses here in London & elsewhere. If they invest 100
in SL it is nearly Rs. 20K - with which you can do much more than what you are doing
here by paying endless taxes. Whatever the people says it is evident that the Tamil diaspora has become successful over the years & each one I have spoken to is still want to go back to SL, talks very high about the good old times they have had back in SL, talks about our beaches, food, culture & some says that they are from the most beautiful island on earth! Some call it a paradise on earth.
We should go back, invest for the sake of your country & it s people because
whatever passport we may hold we are still very Sri Lankans! Aren t we?

Sri Lanka targets north and east for tourist expansion
I am sure our new Minister of Tourism Hon.Nandana Gunatilleke would do a fantastic job in promoting Sri Lanka as a tourist destination. |
