There was a book written on sarath silva in book stores in sri lanka which was published about three years ago by a well known journalist...

if any one wants to see the cupboards open of sri lankan judiciary and its head 'clown' silva...

that's one book you cannot afford to miss...written with facts and to this date not charged for defamation in court...!

sarath silva's last gamble to bring the govt,in the back drop of intense close door deliberation with mongal and the clan found space in my page here in lnp a few months ago down when signs of a military victory was on the horizon with the ruling on petrol prices was shot down by the govts middle finger and thus reduced this great man to the joker he always was...

ps-farewell joker silva...we miss you...

SF:

Why President is going to early presidential elections even after a great victory.

People are that forgetful ?

Because, economically Sri Lanka can not go bad. Only way it can go is forward.

Anud...the war victory will be forgotten in 8 months...in a 30 year old conflict the people will be psychologically conditioned to forget..not that someone does that by force but thats how human psychology works, otherwise how would srilankans survive with so many years of bombs, destruction, blood shed and loosing loved once.

therein they will forget both good and bad...life will go on so the victory will be forgotten in a flash...which explains the early election to grab whats due before the mood dies off and Utopian expectations set in vis e vis the people...

we are going to presidential elections before parliamentary cos when the president will get a second term the general election will automatically be won..

aani...you will have that article in due course...but i have given you what happened in bits and pieces...you would have read the story about balachandran elsewhere i broke it here first before any world media......

chief joker

Hmmmm.!

The worse is he was not elected by Velu but our own legal and political structure. If it is the case we may get such CJ's in future as well. This is not something we should be happy. !!
