The IMF Loan should not be the be all and the end all
We as Sri Lankans should look at all other means available to us. We the Sri Lankan Diaspora are a enterprising lot, who have settled in the West and have some financial means to help our Country to develop. If we can all Club together and commit some part of our savings to help our People, we will all reap the benefits in future. We all owe a Gratitude of Debt to these innocent Children caught up in this insane War.
Let them forget the days of the Cyanide Capsule around their neck, let them imagine that they are all Wanted and treasured Citizens of Sri Lanka.

political stability is definitely better at absence of war.
ethnic harmony would get better, hope MR come up with 13th amendment. |

And give the same data for a few countries from the region & across the globe pl. |

Are these counte as economic fundamentals?
GDP per Capita
Growth rate
Inflation
Trade deficit/surplus as % of GDP
Debt/GDP ratio
% of population living below poverty line
Unemployment rate
Or are there More Fundamental stuff?
Just curious- being no economist-I'm a bit worried about SL economy-was scheduled to TOTALLY COLLAPSE as far back as the days of Mavil Aru. |

JKH YTD increase in share price is 152%!!
There are so many other stock prices which did increase more than 100% compared to Jan. |
