The activities of journalists, researchers, aid workers, and volunteers receive particular attention.
These are the people who in teh past tried to destroy this country. So giving them extra attention is for the best.
How many Aid Workers helped the terrorists?

Americans should comply with all instructions from security forces and police when traveling in Sri Lanka. American citizens, including those of Sri Lankan origin, whether living in Sri Lanka or traveling there for only a few days, are strongly urged to register with the Embassy online via the Department of State travel registration page or in person. | I think the current security level should be maintained until the tamils(specially their so called leaders) will realize that the way forward is not the self determination mubo jumbo with their racist and tribal mindset, but realizing that the whole country belongs too all and thye should integrate with the rest of the country to build it for all! |

All most all of these fellows carry Tourist Visa, yet doing other business in SL.

Rasak, I agree. We are anyway used to the extra security and getting stopped at checkpoints is as routine as stopping for fuel.
I for one don't mind them being around for at least a few years.

True, this applies in all the countries. It also applies to all the communities ( majority and minority) of the country. Minority community should integrate and majority community should help the minority community to integrate. |

eelam jokers realize they cannot have their way in Sri Lank, they will leave our shores for good.
Make them feel Lanka is their country too, so that they wont ask for Eelam, make it comfortable for them to stay in Lanka so that they dont go overseas and help the transnational government. |
