These magazines and some NGO are living on blood and tears of poor countries ..!

With or without LTTE terror, SL is strong enough always to survive much better compare to many other developing countries.

So, punch all the data into a computer and manipulate data the way you want.

Thats very true.
Our countries must look for Asian Standards, and must organize to avoid these so called GLOBAL standards, set by few western countries.

The Maldivian Ministry of Health and Family has revealed names of hospitals in Sri Lanka where Maldivians can receive medical treatment under the government welfare scheme.

The designated Sri Lankan hospitals are Navaloka Hospital,Asiri Hospitaland Durdens Hospital. The government has yet to reveal names of Indian hospitals covered under the scheme.

To do a research on 177 countries they should have at least 10,000 research staff and spend billions of dollers.
Imagine country like China,India they will need at least 500 staf for each country.

What I feel is these guys just read few newspapers and rank countries as they want.

IDPs would rather live under trees than in the camps S.B.
UNP MP S.B Dissanayake said today that the situation within the Internally Displaced Camps in the North are so dire that these person if given the freedom to move out of these camps would prefer to live under trees than inside the camps. The situation in those camps is so bad that if the people were given to go free they will go live under trees.
