Sri Lanka is the only country which defeted terrorism, it showed the power of Government, and Government is sucessful
so it should be the most successful state in the world.
Obviously lot of others have a different view.
I don't know whether anyone else noticed, now if sri lanka was ranked lower last year and has improved this year, the point is that what MR did was right?
Usually any ranking released in a year is for the previous year s records.

But Previous year was the most cruicual, 90% of the terrorism was beaten in that year, and it was the year that we faced most of the problems.
Any way, Look at the trend than been so pesimistic |

Can we justify high expenditure of our ministers using money use of Mugabe's wife...?
Today news says, MR by-passed the foreign minister for an important team to India. MR is not happy with how the minister is spending money even for family members in tours.
Anyway, these people are surviving somehow...! |

True.
But the record was very bad for beginning of this year, will be okay from this month to the end of this year. Balancing the bad points and okay points of this year, next year the ranking may be the same. Will certainly improve from 2011 onwards. Hope so. |

Failed State should not only concider the financial facts or the living cost.
GR's case, the lawyers resigned, just like in a Hindi Movie,, Scaring ..
Mervin Silva, openly in Media threat the People, still happly enjoying the life.
So many corrupted ministers, with out a single punishment. |
