They being living for decades in puttlam...but having Good life when compare to normal citizens.
A totally objectionable post. I've heard Puttalam described as the armpit of the world by somebody who worked there for an NGO.
Many will stay because they have jobs there, and an uncertain future if they return to Jaffna. Hardly means everything's hunky dory. |

I just don't understand what is good about these Nazi like camps.
The are not heavens, but they have
food,
medical facilities and attention,
temporary houses or tents (with all side covered),
post offices,
coop shops,
banks,
schools,
some vocational training activities,
roads,
play grounds or play areas for kids,
24h police protection,
regularly checks by GA of Vaunia,
and opportunity to live with all other in IDP camp freely.
Just, wait and see, once the GOSL workout the re-settle program, they will go back.
I am sad to see, still you want to advocate 'freedom' struggle for Tamils, and this time with the help of Muslims. But, people have any memory in how once mighty LTTE defeated, they will not take guns.
But, through non-violence actions, you and other people can continue to talk about legitimate needs, since Sri Lanka is the country for all people there.
Just check your own back-yard. How many old Tamil members are writing on the same line today...? |
