Simply, its too early for people to forget what VP and LTTE did to the country.
LOLOL. You guys ask us to forget atrocities such as 81 biblioclasm, 83 riots, Chenmani mass graves, Senchcholai massacres, and ask us to forget the recent indiscriminate shelling of the so-called NFZ which made at least 20'000 dead and 300'000 homeless people in their own country.. Simply its too early for people to forget what SLA and GOSL did to us.
I just cant understand why you and some people so much worry about these temporary camps.
I just don't understand what is good about these Nazi like camps. One must live there to really understand I guess.. But when we have descriptions like those given by GG, I can just worry about the condition the people are living in. More people are INFECTED by various diseases like chickenpox and hepatite. With time , it will only worsen, I don't understand why you are not concerned about 'your' people's health..!
But, still the environment is not ready for permanent settlements. Still, bombs and even guns are digging-up in those areas. So, see the reality.
You even don't know the village I'm talking about, and you make assumptions that it is full of bombs and guns... Well, I'm sorry I can not help you. You guys talk as if the whole NE is full of bombs, mines and guns... I don't wonder why Su33 was telling that they are recovering millions of mines per day !! How long will you use those pretexts ???
The truth is you dont want this people to live happy, those Nazi camps are their place of death.
Tbe family I was talking about has a home, and a village which was not that much affected by war and which I visited when I was in SL...
Even GOSL cant feed them for years.
Then who will feed those widows and orphans ? Are you asking the people to get a job when there is no job ?
You must see the good side too.
Of what ??? Did I miss a part ??
There is no other choice than living together.
I do not believe in those living together farces, the same song is being sung for more than 60 years, and look the state of Sri Lanka.
We can live in peace, but never under Sinhalese hegemony in our homeland. There is always a choice, it is time for Muslims and Tamils to reunite and fight together for a greater autonomy in NE.
