It is a well known policy of international secret agents to grab and then nurse or destroy up and coming political, social or religious organizations that could have an impact on the society in the future. A few years after Velupillai Prbhakaran launched his so called liberation movement there was no shortage of money for him to run the organization and to procure arms ever at this moment LTTE has US$ 500 million to its credit.

Prabakaran`s power expanded so fast that in no time his notoriety and ruthlessness attracted the international mafia that established contacts with him and he became the leading trafficker of arms, drugs and human cargo bringing in millions of dollars to fight his war in Sri Lanka.For this purpose he had over ten ships and an army of pirates. The best client for LTTE drug trafficking was in Mexico

Locally Prabhakaran became the commander of a powerful army, navy and airforce and later he became the head of a de facto government thanks to the Cease Fire Agreement (CFA) signed between Prabhakaran and then Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe, facilitated by Norway.

Apart from men and women he recruited he had an army of child soldiers against all norms of human rights but UN and its organizations failed to take hardly any action as the pro LTTE lobby in UN was in the pay of LTTE. Nude pictures of female Tamil caders taken by the INGO members who were training these girls and the pathetic stories as to how they were seduced and made pregnant is another story.LTTE of Prabhakaran is a pioneer organization that had a suicide brigade of mainly female cadres.

LTTE also was in receipt of funds from various sources to purchase highly sophisticated arms and ammunition.A number of foreign countries and organizations who pretended to be friendly with Sri Lanka supported LTTE very openly. Even though Prabhakaran openly stated that he is fighting for a separate State which is a criminal act as far as the Constitution of Sri Lanka is concerned, he was able to get the support of local media, a cluster of NGOs, INGOs and some political parties. According to information now being gathered all these parties have been in the pay of LTTE. Some Tamil groups in Tamil Nadu supported LTTE to gain a political milage in their campaigns, to gather votes.

Now that the leadership of LTTE is eliminated with no prospect of recovery, many secrets are coming out and those who supported LTTE for money stands exposed. According to intelligence sources most parties who were supporting LTTE had four major motives among many others.

1. Tamil groups who supported LTTE in Sri Lanka or abroad genuinely wished to have a State of their own as India will never agree to give a State for Tamils even though there are over 50 million Tamils in Tamil Nadu.

2. Christian groups too wished to have the Eelam so that they could have another Christian State with the help of Prabhakaran much to the embarrassment of the Catholic church in Sri Lanka. Norwegian Lutheran Church was openly behind this move. This was clearly seen by the interest taken by Norwegian officials from the very beginning.

3. Third group was the oil cartel headed by Norway that was keen to exploit the oil resources in North under a future Eelam State.

4. The fourth and most powerful group was the CIA that is in search of an Israel type policeman for East.In order to meet the threat of Soviet Union, western powers created Israel and armed it to teeth. Its function is to protect the West but unfortunately Israel is now a Frankenstein monster which is another matter. The raising power of India and China in the East and Far East is considered a threat for USA interests in the region and hence it is in search of a policeman.

Failure to give birth to Eelam in Sri Lanka is a big shock to the imperialist powers of the West and also to many other parties who had their own agendas.

Thanks to the efforts of the valiant forces under the able leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Sri Lanka will continue to be a unitary State where all communities could enjoy equal rights. An Israel style Eelam would have created immense suffering to all as it happens in Palestine where the land area of Palestinians are shrinking due to forcible annexations. In the same way as Jews were brought in to settle in Israel, Eelam would invite Tamils from India and all parts of the world and make Sinhalese and Muslims refugees in foreign lands creating an international crisis as in Palestine.

Eelam war may be over in the land of Sri Lanka but it is continuing in many parts of the world with the support of the Tamil diaspora and the imperialist powers. Local and international supporters of LTTE are now trying to discredit the government with allegations of human rights violations with regard to the living conditions in the refugee camps. They fail to mention as to how these people lived under LTTE rule without any of the basic facilities.
