40,000 innocent sinhalese youths were killed by SL Army and death squads in 1989 JVP war.
12,000 sinhales were killed by Sri Lankan forces ( I heard Indian forces were here too during that time) in 1971 JVP war.
Please check with someone if you dont believe.

There were no tamils, sinhalese, english, germans, chinese then.
However, ancestors of tamils and sinhalese would have been the same group of people living somewhere in between africa and india.
