What is the big deal, during the last 2000 years of history, most of the time Sri Lanka was either split or ruled by Indians (Cholas) or ruled by Eurpoean or partially ruled by LTTE.
1948 - 1983 might be the only time it may have been a unitary state, apart from few short periods here and there.

There are ethnic Germans in Germany and also in Ausrtia. In both the countries Germans are the majority. Do you expect ethnic Germans to move out of Austria and move into Germany ?

There are ethnic Greeks in Greece and Cyprus.
There are ethnic Turkish in Turkey and Cyprus.
Do you want ethnic Turks and Greeks to move out of Cyprus.
Is it the same for French Canadians ? Should they move back to France.

I call myself Australian, if I call myself Australian Tamil I could end up beaten on the road by a Sinhalese.
In Sri Lanka I got death class treatment, in Australia I am an equal citizen like anyone else, otherwise I will not be living in Aus.
i thought you are a moderate tamil wanna live in peace as you mentioned earlier. so you need to grow up did cholas or indians owns this country? hikz NO did LTTE owns it now ? NO .so tamils are still stateless for how many years 2000 years? does it really hurts you

get a life man..peelamists are the one who is beating up sinhalese and buddhist temples world wide. whats wrong the Buddhism has done to peelam tamils?
