Tamils have a country...Its India.
They originated there and still live there in millions.
Then, started to migrate to many parts of the world from there.
Sansare, I didnt know you were that dumb. Tamils originated in Kumari Kandam which Sri Lanka and South India are part of !
I feel sorry for you, and your knowledge of the Indian subcontinent is more than deplorable ! But I understand you since 99% of Indians and Sri Lankans have no idea about their glorious history.
BTW can you prove me that Tamils originated in India ???
Even the Greeks recorded the existence of 5 temples dedicated to Shiva in Sri Lanka, it was well before any Vijaya came to the island. The Ramanaya also illustrate the existence of a King who worshipped Shiva, in the Ramanaya he is called the King of Lanka - Ravana.
I'm not gonna explain it deeper, since you won't understand or won't accept. And surely believe the Sinhalese as the natives of Sri Lanka since Sinhalese is not spoken anywhere else. Great logic BTW !

you born stateless tamils by trying to make this island as your home land will make Tamils further isolated from rest of the world.
go to India or to Halifax for peelam....sri lanka do have sri lankan ways of doing things.

How can they love it when they are being killed.

Nobody to blame but it doesn t help when their education is affected by proportional representation system.
There were high ranking tamil officers in the army for some time even after 83 but not much after for obvious reasons.
Tamil population is abou 18%, but in armed forces before 1983 their percentage was maximum of 1%.
This was corrected by 60s. In contrast the Australian 'White only' policy ended only in 73
But Australia is now much more multicultutal and tolerant than Sri Lanka. Tamils are not being attacked in Aus except by recently arrived Sinhalese overseas students.
Where are all eelam boys ? Did they already realize their opinions have no value ?
I guess you don t want to even want listen to their point of view.

Can someone please tell me why Lakshman Kadirkarmar never became a PM of Sri Lanka, is it because he was a Tamil ? Don t tell me he was killed before he became the PM.

I am talking about our recent historical records (say about last 2-3 thousands of years), where we know, Dravidian are the people in south India. I agree, they may have been to SL, but never became the Majority in our recorded history of Sri Lanka.
Today, we have a mixed population, and Tamils are a part of that. Yet, since they are one of the minorities, they will never get the full democratic control of the Island, if its not divided for each ethnic group. This is the reality.
The best way to live is respect each group's existence and live in peace. Let elections to select MPs and regional administrations. |

NO. Sinhalese also came to the Island. Perhaps Vaddas are the original people. Anyway, gradually, Sinhalese became the majority, and started to control the bigger section of the island with number of times of total control. We should not argue these well known facts. What I said was, under present democratic system, SL Tamils will coop with other people and live in peace in Sri Lanka. |
