Judge Wadhwa further states there is nothing on record to show that the intention to kill Rajiv Gandhi was to overawe the Government. Hence it was held that it was not a terrorist act under TADA (Act).

First, did LTTE kill Rajeev Gandhi ?

International underwriters in London have lowered the war risk rating for Sri Lanka following the defeat by government forces of Tamil Tigers, paving the way for reducing insurance premiums on sea and air cargo.

after defeating the LTTE terrorists.. this rapid development is a promising sign for a better Sri Lanka... with a bleak future SL had many years ago has rapidly changed within 3years time!! lets hope things will improve even further..

How many Sinhalese are in Northern and Eastern part of Sri Lanka ? (North none, East, 25%)

Due to following reason southerners don't want to be settling in the North unless forced to do by the GOSL.

In the South:
Better rain
Land is more suitable for culivation
Weather is better
Close access to the capital
More tourism
More rivers
Better beaches

While in the North people have to work so hard to achieve anything, so they try to go into Professional jobs. But has been stopped by Proportional representation system.
Is it fare ?
