I have a strange feeling that might be the case. It has happened in the recent past too, 1971, 1989.

Is this about picking on the maids who work in the middle eastern countries ? I don't want my relatives or friends to do that job. But that is besides the point.
These maids are doing a great help to their families and the country. I can only admire them and salute them.

You are absolutely right. In the mean time that points to something wrong with the Sri Lankan culture.
It appears Tamil militancy will not arise, accroding to KP it will be a democratic process.

Americans and Eropenas need to do that.. thats why they are having fun in Iraq and in ASfganistan
Britishers do that all the time in Football games...remeber hooligans in soccer?

As humans we thrive on violence :)))))))
But the rest are not upto Sri Lankan standard.
1989-1990 - 40,000 innocent sinhalese youth massacred by SLDF. (Recorded as worlds' highest killing rate for that period).
2009 - 20,000 innocent tamil civilians killed by SLDF.
Tamils and Democracy do not go together..just like (Thala Thel) seseme oil and water :))
I guess we will know soon. |
