Chennaiguuy,
Do you have any sense of shame or guilt for the role play by India in Sri Lanka since 1983? More than 100,000 lives of Sri Lankans could have been saved if not for the Machiavellian role India played from the time of Cold War. Sure, China, US and Pakistan had a hand in too. But, India's role was instrumental in this ethnic conflict. If India really wanted an end to this war, it could have ended long time ago. Sri Lanka could have become a prosperous state if not for this fruitless war. Also, if not for this war in Sri Lanka, a sizable amount of the foreign investment that flowed to South India would have gone to Sri Lanka. Think about it. One of my close relatives was the President of a US-multinational corporation for its operations in India (& Sri Lanka) he cut the ribbon for this company s first factory in Tamil Nadu!). Do not think we are all bunch of idiots.
