Head of Heros Affairs, Pon Thiyagam and Commander of Sea Tigers Col.Soosai lit the ceremonial lamps, LTTE's Head of Intelligence Pottu Amman hoisted the Tamil Eelam flag, and Chief of Tamil Eelam Police P. Nadesan raised the official flag of Tamil Eelam Police.

The Tamil Eelam District Judge Mr.Thillai imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 and three months imprisonment suspended for a period of one year on the accused. The accused woman Mrs. Manonmany of Veeransenai, Palugamam was also ordered surety bail in a sum of Rs 5,000. The District Judge said he was imposing lenient punishment on the accused woman taking into consideration her family circumstances.
The Judge further said the production and sale of Kasippu in Tamil Eelam area is banned.


Ha ha ha ha ha ha h! Did anyone counted the empty bottles found in Eelam???

The Thamil Eelam Law College was established in 1991 in Jaffna. It was moved to
Puthukudiyiruppu
in Mullaithivu after the Sri Lanka army took control of the Jaffna peninsula in 1995.

Vadamaradchchi fisheries society sources in Jaffna district Saturday complained to the civil authorities concerned that the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) is providing security to Sinhalese fishermen from the South who are engaged in fishing in the northern sea close to Vadamarachchi coast.
