Memo to Indian cricket supporters: it is time to grow up. Sport is not about winning, it is about losing. Twelve teams have been taking part in this tournament and only one of them will return winners. The rest will be losers. |

The protesters, it must be said, were nearly entirely ethnic Tamils. Despite the tens of thousands of people killed in the war in Sri Lanka, unlike Darfur, Myanmar or the Middle East, the victims have yet to gain noticeable solidarity from non-Tamils.
Hah hah hah hah ha ha ha ha..!
This feels of abandonment was palpable Wednesday night in front of the St. Regis Hotel.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...!
Hooo..! Hoooooo..! Hoooooooooooo...!
Inner City Press, which has asked questions at the UN which have cut both ways but focused on civilians, was filming the photographing the protest. Several of the participants asked, where is the rest of the media?
'where is the media?'
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...!
A television producer known to Inner City Press stopped by, gave congratulations for having found the news, but emerged from a cell phone calls saying that 'there is no crew.'
One of the protesters asked, 'No clue?'
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...!

After all, if winning was all that there was, what would there be to celebrate? Indian supporters, the most immature in cricket, cannot seem to grasp this simple fact.
LOL! The tn goons who l1ck here in LNP are the most immatured cockroaches!

Sntha!!
Excellent article!!
I love this line!!
With over 300,000 Tamils locked up in UN-funded internment camps in northern Sri Lanka, a routine appearance by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon was protested Wednesday evening in New York.
Even UN knows where to put them now!

Tamil protest ends after 73 days
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/8105879.stm
A 73-day protest involving thousands of people demonstrating over the plight of Tamils in Sri Lanka has ended.
The protest featured hunger strikes, mass sit-ins blocking central London roads and people throwing themselves into the River Thames.
One of those involved, Ambi Seevaratnam said: 'After 73 days, nothing has worked. The Tamils have been betrayed by the international community.'

The Tamils have been betrayed by the international community.'
Reason is, the world is no longer cater a single community, and no where it will allow the raciasm
For all the Protests and other demonstrations against the Sri lanka, only 99 % tamils and other paid nationals arrived.. Reason is, the general community is no longer intersted of supporting racism. |

US Ambassador nominee says Sri Lanka must address legitimate Tamil grievances
friends, she's definitely going to do/say more things on SL more to demean us as she has exactly done the same in Bangladesh
the Ambassador-designate, Patricia Butenis said Sri Lanka should not miss the chance to set the course for lasting peace.
It may be prudent that this time we practice 'persona-non-grata' status again on this before she becomes a real headache in SL poking her finger to SL internal matters.
nip it in the bud
we are no more the underdogs now in IC as we have solid backing of superpowers. Shanghai summit was the culmination of that. Bogollagama.... where are you?

| If the protest head line was... Sri Lankan Army is killing the civilians of the North and East
Protests would have been attended by more people.
But since the heading was
Sri Lankan army killing tamils
Save tamils
Give a mono ethinic land for tamils
no one was interested..
Here is the business reason. If a Mono ethnic tamil Home land is created (at least in Dreams) all the countries know that they will not be allowed to set up any business places in that country, since it is by name, is Mono ethnic.
So.. If there is no business to be done, why the heck they support. |

Icing on the cake.
well done lads, you have made it!
Approximately 200 Sri Lankan Tamils in Montreal,Canada are facing deportation from Canada, Canadian media reported today.
Although the Canadian government expressed 'dismay and displeasure' over the Sri Lankan government s refusal last week to allow Liberal foreign affairs critic Bob Rae to enter Sri Lanka, they continue to deport Tamil refugees in Canada -ada derana
other too can follow suit! |
