My fear is that efforts towards forming this transnational government by the very people who helped suppress alternate voices within the Tamil community will end up directing valuable time and resources away from where they are needed the most rebuilding the lives of our people and economic development/ re-construction in the war-torn areas of the Northeast. Imagine if 100,000 people in the Tamil Diaspora give $1000 per person per year for 5 years for rebuilding the lives of people they left behind? That comes to $500 million. Also, do not forget the situation of orphans - close to 1,000 children to care for. Do you want them to end up in the streets? If they do, that will be the enduring lecacy of the Tamil Diaspora.
We have the intellectual and capital resources to make this work. Let us not waste it again on a fruitless adventure.

This attempt to form a Transnational Govt by remnant tiger fringe groups will be a NON-Starter.
For once it will give a handle to GOSL to keep tamils in Conc Camps for more than 2 yrs & also their Plight will be made more Pathetic.
What is needed is a complete change in attitute & leadership in Tamil Diaspora & not another tiger leader to lead them again to the depth of abyss
