I'm not sure this is the right place for my comment. If not, I beg your pardon.
I just wanted to congratulate Ms Irangani de Silva for having succeeded in tarnishing Sri Lanka in my eyes.
She's living in Canada and did her best to have Bob Ray turned away at the airport.
I don't know enough about Sri Lanka and I'm a pacifist so nobody can accuse me of being taken in by anybody's propaganda but I'm a Canadian who believes that the government has no business in hiding matters from the international community.
The Tigers have been defeated. What is it that Ms Irangani de Silva wnats to be hidden? The suffering of innocent women and children - and yes - no doubt some men?
In my eyes YOU have tarnished your country Irangani de Silva and you should learn a bit more about Canadian values, with all due respect.
In this country we still believe in the freedom of the press and freedom of speech.
You have not done any good for your country with this.

There are so many Tamil - Travel Agents.
So, which Travel agent gave the Ticket to Mr. BOB RAE ?
LTTE is banned in Canada. Yet, how come BOB RAE got a ticket from LTTE ?
Which Tamil Travel agent was waiting there to hand over the return ticket to BOB RAE (newspapers said, he went with one way ticket ?). |
